Fees
Members of AEA or NZEA: Free, however we encouraged people to make a donation.
Non-members: Also free, or pay what you could.
Teachers and speakers
Eminent Esperantists from around Australia and New Zealand, and around the world, including Trevor Steele, Duncan Charters (president of UEA), Vinko Markovo (president of SAT), Mireille Grosjean (president of ILEI) and Humphrey Tonkin.
How it worked
We used Zoom and Jitsi (as used in UEA’s recent Virtual Congress).
NOTE: Zoom needs to be installed (free), however Jitsi will run on any modern browser on a computer, but if you planned to use it on a tablet (eg, an iPad) you needed to have the Jitsi app (also free) installed.
One interesting idea was for local groups to organise physical meetings where they could participate collectively, at least for part of the congress.
