Daniel Kane 1948-2021
(Updated 29 April 2021) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Dr Daniel (Danny) Kane, who died on 16 April 2021 in Melbourne. Danny has been an Esperantist since 1965. He held an impressive position with the Australian Diplomatic Service (at the Australian Embassy in Beijing) and later became Professor of Chinese at Macquarie University (Sydney). Meetings online during the COVID-19 pandemic
Owing to restrictions on public gatherings related to the COVID-19 pandemic, all local club meetings are suspended until further notice. A number of local groups have organised online meetings instead, mostly using Zoom. Anyone – even if from another country – is welcome to register and attend.
