At the closing cremony of the 108th World Congress of Esperanto in Turin, the distribution of 12 diplomas – for Outstanding Performance or Outstanding Artistic Performance for the year 2023 – was announced. The diplomas for Outstanding Performance have been awarded by the Board of UEA since the year 2007.
The Australian Esperanto Association received a Diploma of Outstanding Performance for its long-term holding of summer schools with participants and leaders from various countries and continents, and for its ongoing series of regular online lectures during and after the pandemic.
