In 2023, AEA encourages Australian Esperantists to participate in CEFR exams.
The CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) exam system was created to provide a common basis for describing levels of language proficiency and to improve the ease of comparison of language qualifications across different countries and educational systems.
You can take exams at levels B1, B2, and C1, in written, oral, or both parts. This year, the exams will take place in June (online) or August (physically at the Universal Congress in Turin).
To ensure that those in Australia have the opportunity to take the exams online at a convenient time (as the organisers work according to European time), AEA is trying to encourage as many people as possible to register for the exams. As a large group, we can request a suitable time for the event. To attract more people, we have decided to give Australians who successfully pass their exam half of the registration cost back! Just send your details to info@esperanto.org.au after receiving your result.
